Have been here several times and it never disappoints. Its only a very small garden but so enjoyable to stroll around with a tiny coffee shop in it. Parking is very easy around the streets for free

The variety of plants and ecosystems are really good but for us the highlight was the conservatory with the carnivorous plants, orchids, butterflies and other special plants. We also thought the water tanks turned into stages and theatres were really well done.

Immerse yourself in another world of beauty - natures glory of greens tall and small. The conservatorium has many butterflies cruising around, delighting people as they occasionally land for a close up view.

I am a garden junkie and always seek out public gardens in a new place. Some have a disappointing amount of grass, requiring long stretches of walking between each bit of garden. Not the case at Cairns Botanic Gardens! Every step takes you past or...More
