Several different areas with different environments featured (salt water lake, fresh water lake, river, bamboo, garden, mangroves, etc). Great place to see lots of different plants in different conditions. Beautiful flowers, picnic areas, play areas. Not very crowded. Natural wildlife (exotic birds, mudskippers). Downside: It's...More

The bicycle rental shop recommended I ride here for a nice stroll. It was a nice stop on the route, not sure I would otherwise go specifically to the botanic gardens. It’s nice for a quiet stroll.

Value is great! Walk in for free and wander and enjoy. Even the Butterfly house is free, (although it does have a voluntary donation box). Great rain forest and tropical plants. Nice Chinese garden.

We loved walking around this Botanic Garden. There are several well cared for hiking and walking trails. We did one of the hikes and then explored the gardens. There is also an nice cafe there. It was an easy bus ride from downtown.
