We used the hop on hop off ferry while sightseeing, it is also a good way to see the lights of Brisbane at night.

On a good day it is a great trip up the river. Good for visiting family and friends at a cheap price. You can jump off and on at any of the stops within a set time period and the city hopper timetable.

This is a great way to see Brisbane from the river. Round trip takes about an hour and it is free. Beautiful sites of Story Bridge and waterfront houses.

If you’re fortunate to be in Brisbane make sure you take a ride on the free city hopper ferry! Great views of the city and convenient hop on hop off stops.

Free trip down the river. 30min interval 7 days/week. Smallish ferry but great service and covers quite a few stops around the sights.

You are better off getting a taxi from Fortitude Valley train station where there is a taxi rank nearby.
