It's a great free service to get from one bank to the other. It's great when it's not busy. It's a pain when it's busy.

The City Hopper is a great way of getting around the City of Brisbane. The services are regular and fuss free but may become a little crowded in the busy periods such as school holidays. Remember downstream is east & upstream is west

This was a very pleasant and relaxing few hours- going from north quay to Sydney street and return; if you had plenty of time you can off at various stops and catch a later trip

A must do if you are visiting Brisbane. The ferry is for free and you can see the city from the river perspective. I personally recommend to jump on for the sunset time and enjoy the city light afterwards.

A great free service. We took the ferry from North Quay and got off at Dockside, Kangaroo Point. Great way to see the city. Then walked across Kangaroo Point to picked up the riverside path and walked back to the CBD via this. A great...More

We stayed on Kangaroo Point and found this form of transport very convenient when travelling to the city centre and South Bank and an added bonus is that it is free!

The river is a hive and centre of activity and the City Hopper is a great way to initially explore and get your landmarks. Our grandchildren really enjoyed the trip.

Depends on how you get from Surfer's Paradise to Brisbane. I would allow a full day to allow getting the light rail from Florida Gardens stop to Helensvale. You need to swap to the train heading to Brisbane. Get off at... More
