In every city tour I go to, whether local or international, it wouldn't be completed if you can't drop by any church or Cathedral. The place is so serene and peaceful. The church is a bit old and boosts of simple architectural designs yet there...More

Well worth a visit with tour staff available free of charge. What makes a cathedral seperate from a church it has a chair next to the alter.

I was headed to Woolworths (opposite this church) when I espied this beautiful building. I'd heard/read about it, but did not realise it was in the centre of the city - a pleasant surprise.

Our visit was very enjoyable, it is a beautiful Cathedral and it felt really good roaming through it, they don't build them like that anymore and it is well worth a visit while you are in Brisbane.

Exactly what it should be. Interior and exterior have been lovingly restored and the 10 am mass on Sunday with the choir leaves you with goosebumps.

You get a sense of a city's history by visiting its churches. I am catholic so used this to visit for religious reasons but its worth a visit on a hot day to contemplate the architecture.

Gorgeous placed to go if you are into your religion and/or archetechture. The stained glass is wonderful and plenty of electric fans inside to keep you cool.

I love visiting old churches while traveling and spent some time in this beautiful church and in the surrounding property. There are volunteers there who can give tours or you can

I attended mass in this beautiful cathedral. It was not filled with statues and great gilding but it's simplicity was beautiful and truly a wonderful site to behold!
