Great place to take small dogs at low tide. They can run and swim safely between the sand bars and have a great time. Easy parking and free access.

We came for the off leash dog area and 'beach'. It's rocky but the dog loved getting his paws wet. He also had a run in the large off leash enclosure which had lots of dogs using it.

I think a lot of the reviews are doing Nudgee Beach a disservice because whilst not a beautiful, sandy beach, this area offers wonderful walks full of interesting florae and faunae. At the top end of Nudgee there is a trail of about 1.5km in...More

Mangroves. Mosquitos. Mud. Terrible view. Unswimmable water. Always plenty of fishermen and dog-walkers but you wouldn't go there for any other reason.

Mangroves, mud flats, rubbish, smells, the whole area is just a bit grotty. Do not come if you expect to find a beach.

A typical moreton bay beach with not much sand and mangroves. It is not a place to swim. If you have a dog then it is a great dog friendly beach.

Getting to Nudgee Beach on public transport can be a bit challenging on the weekends, but is doable by bus 306. This area is great fun for free, with beautiful beaches and mangrove areas to explore. There are more shallow areas, and deeper water, so...More

Check the tide times, and take your dogs for a long walk during low tides. The mud/sand flats run for miles from inlet to inlet, and provided all dog owners watch their pets behaviour, there is plenty of opportunity to let your fur-ball have a...More
