Lovely place to go for a stroll along the beach. No surf here but the closest beach to Brisbane city.

I enjoy spending an afternoon at Nudgee beach especially if I leave work a bit early and time a visit with low tide. If you're expecting a beach with sand and waves, this is NOT the beach for you. The afternoon sea breezes are a...More

Nudgee beach is a little like going to a day spa; the ripples in the sand provide a therapeutic foot massage and the warm water melts your worries away. For those familiar with hot water beach in NZ, the temperature is similar with the added...More

This place isn't your usual beach as you wont get the crashing waves, surfers, sun baking in bikinis or swimmers. But you will get Long relaxing walks at low tide with or without your fur baby. The beach has grassed areas and BBQ's for those...More

I go to Nudgee Beach at least once a month just to get quiet. It is a great place just to walk through the park, the mudflats, raised mangrove walk, or sit in the park or on the beach and just watch and dream

Brisbane has 3 islands off shore so no sand and surf beaches only mangrove tidal water front - not a beach - so don't be fooled unless you like swamps

Not REALLY a beach...more of a waterfront location for a picnic etc. Great to give the dogs a run but not really a swimming spot as it is very muddy with difficult water access.
