Librarians were great and could assist me with finding great knowledge material in the archives. Its a big and unique library and I highly recommend to university students and Year 12 students to study and research in.

You will not be disappointed in visiting the Queensland State Library with a pleasant environment with the Indigenous Display including a beautiful full wall colour map showing the local indigenous people across Brisbane.

Thanks for your review and I am glad you enjoyed your visit to State Library. Library members are also welcome to use the computers on level 2 and 3 for 3 hours per day.

Literally cool, great in the heatwave conditions but cool as well. Free wifi access as well. A superb place to calmly catch up on newspapers etc.

The State Library has so many things to offer. It is a quiet haven and with so many research facilities. Wonderful place to watch people of all walks of life, ages and nationalities enjoying each others company.
