A beautifully landscaped park with riverside walkway / bikeway that leads to Jindalee. Family friendly, BBQs, water park, climbing areas, grassed areas, open space, and covered areas (Albeit not enough). Very hot in summer, so shade could be improved. Kids loved it.

Have been here a couple of times and the grandchildren love it. Plenty for them to do, wide open spaces, on the river and the history of the area is really interesting.

The only access is via transport (your car). peaceful riverside walk or picnic/party/childrens day. Dogs must be on a leash - no off-leash area. But very level and easy walking. Plenty of covered seating & BBq areas.

I have seen signs in areas to say this is reserved for an event. Contact Brisbane city council. I also just googled reserve rocks riverside and it took me straight to the website to book an area.

I believe that it opens at 7.00am although I have never been there that early as we usually have lunch in the park.
