If you have some free time around Brisbane drop in and have a look. Good place to spend a few hours wondering and family friendly.

When in Brisbane the QAGOMA is a must. It sits right in the cultural precinct of Brisbane right alongside the Southbank recreational area. The building is severe on the outside but blends well with its situation. It is multilevel with a carpark below. The cafe...More

This art gallery is really cool! When I went, they were displaying the APT9, which was really cool to walk through! The museum is set up very well and has a lot of interactive activities to entertain children (and some for adults as well)! When...More

This museum doesn't really have that much in it, and the combination of art doesn't make a whole lot of sense. The classical art is minimal, which isn't really what I'd expect. The modern art museum had much more interesting stu ff.

This is an excellent place to view and learn about art. It's a very big building with lots of space to move around even with big groups of visitors around (we were there when there were some school groups around).

I didn’t have a huge amount of expectations when visiting Queensland gallery, however I was amazed! It had a huge amount of art with some really beautiful pieces. The only was I didn’t have enough time to see it all.

This place is very special generally with works by international artists like Picasso, Toulouse Lautrec and Degas, and Australian artists like Nolan, Boyd, Olley, Namatjira and Dobell, not to mention the Japanese and Chinese art/porcelain that form part of this gallery's permanent displays. But at...More

This is a surprisingly good art gallery, consisting of an eclectic collection of exhibits - classic and modern, foreign and local. The gallery spreads over several rooms and you can easily find yourself strolling through the rooms for an hour or so. Entrance is free...More
