This beach in the city centre was one of our highlights in Brisbane. After having been sightseeing the whole day, it is the perfect place to go to relax. Remarkably, it is not particularly busy either.

Many family and free activities to be done. City wheel on sunset a great experience and easy access to State Library, GOMA and other cultural centres. A credut to the City with good ferry, train and pedestrian access.

Must do for visitors and tourists. Easy walk around the river. Lovely gardens. Lots of pathways. Clean and safe. Water pools for swimming, paddling and playing. High summer south bank is packed as a great place to spend a few hours.

Hi Courtney. The main beach area is lit enough that you can see around when you are in the water.
