The museum is located in the arts precinct of Southbank Brisbane. An excellent museum featuring the Lost Creatures Exhibit, the Discovery Centre and the Wild State exhibit.

A fab place to visit when in Brisbane. The exhibits were really interesting and I spent a nice morning exploring them before a lovely lunch at the museum cafe :) Admission to the main museum is free!

It was unfortunate that the museum was undergoing construction for their new exhibitions. This makes it a bit small, however the art present is very nice. Would have loved to see the new exhibitions about monkeys.

If you haven't already been to the Qld Museum Egyptian Mummies exhibition do yourself a favour and go. It's the best $21 you'll spend this year.
