The Queensland museum has many exhibits showcasing the flora and fauna of the state. In addition to the fixed exhibits, there are also special exhibitions. One of the highlights is a preserved giant squid with its massive eye!

Located in a very nice locale, the place has a lot of interesting Australian art, with some excellent temporary exhibits. A bit smaller in extent and scope than what I expected, but still worth a visit.
