Nice stretch of beach with a pier, promenade and resting pavilions. Limited car parking spaces though. Can be very crowded on weekends and holidays. Sand isn’t very fine but good enough for my kids. Water is very clear, but beware of jellyfishes (we spotted one!)....More

An interesting part of Brisbane. A lot has been done to revitalise the area. Nice Fish and Chip shop close by. A pleasant place for a nice walk on a sunny day.

The water is not the clearest, and the sand a little dirty. No real surf to speak of, and the waters are warm, so at least great for the little ones but no one else really. They have a great park that backs onto the...More

Great little spot for an afternoon stroll- walk all the way from shorncliffe to sandgate, its a nice walk. Not a beach for swimming, but good for kids to play on the sand. There is a massive playground there that the kids absolutely love.
