Shorncliffe beach is not much of a beach in itself. There is no surfing and few waves. However it is great for children, with a wide open bay, a first rate childrens' playground and excellent parking.

Nice stretch of beach with a pier, promenade and resting pavilions. Limited car parking spaces though. Can be very crowded on weekends and holidays. Sand isn’t very fine but good enough for my kids. Water is very clear, but beware of jellyfishes (we spotted one!)....More

An interesting part of Brisbane. A lot has been done to revitalise the area. Nice Fish and Chip shop close by. A pleasant place for a nice walk on a sunny day.
