Needed to do some printing and this was the nearest library. Absolutely amazed that the library was within this beautiful government building. Even has a gift shop! Staff so helpful - well worth a look.

Free music at Friday lunch. Free internet. Free talks by Authors. Free novels to swap. Excellent community information board. Kids club. Craft classes. It is a learning hub not a dusty book vault.

I was doing a bit of casual research - but a serious researcher would need to set it up first as I just dipped my toes in. Nice modern, comfortable facility.

Many travellers first hear of this for its free WiFi, but the real deal is its focus on books about the Northern Territory as well as a wonderful collection of photographs
