One of the Waterfront's coolest attractions is the Wave Lagoon: a palm-fringed swimming pool that turns into a tube-riding, boogie-boarding bucket of fun when the waves roll in every 20 minutes. The fully patrolled Wave Lagoon is two metres at its...more

Probably not as good as expected. Kids had a reasonable time but would probably prefer the free water park at Palmerston. It wasn’t expensive though so felt that it was reasonable value for money

They have done this area brilliantly and the wave lagoon is fantastic, especially if you have kids although fun for adults too.

The wave lagoon was a great way to relax with my son after being out and about during the morning. Reasonably priced $12 for the two of us. Parking nearby. Lockers available for $5. Plenty of lifeguards about to ensure swimmers safety. This is the...More

If you are with kids, you can't miss this place. Good time pass and loads of fun at this artificial pool which is big in size ,enough to cater at least 100 people at a time. Main feature is the waves which people enjoy the most.

Great fun for hours for a family with young kids. The waves are predictable so young kids not used to rough surf get a chance to build confidence.

A big hit with the kids and parents. Having a pool with waves is great, takes away the mundane pool atmosphere.

Visited the Wave Lagoon at the end of a day exploring Darwin. Safe option for a swim to cool down (after all it is Darwin) and very clean. Access is via wrist bands purchased from the promenade area. Lots of restaurants and cafes located adjacent...More

I would recommend parking in the waterfront car park and pay parking at the pay station when leaving. The wave lagoon is in the waterfront complex. We found this most convenient with our children.
