Beside the beach with spectacular sunsets. Also walking distance to the Casino. Plenty of food offerings as well as Nic-Nacs

Enjoy the idyllic weather each evening with hundreds or thousands watching the sun set. Can be combined with the markets held twice a week. This was Sunday and Thursday at the time of our visit.

Mindil Beach is only a short taxi ride ($11-12) or a public bus ride to get there. It is an excellent place to view a sunset over the water. However, if you go there on a Sunday afternoon, there is a market on which has...More

We went on a Sunday night this is smaller than the normal Thursday night but still good fun... a must if you visit Darwin. The sunset from the beach is wonderful. The different food options for tea is over whelming in a good way. Tried...More

Everyone said we had to do this one and we weren't disappointed. A couple of hours before sundown and the joint was already rocking. Fantastic range of food hawker stalls, local craft and local musos. Glad we got there early - by sundown the place...More

We were there on a Thursday while visiting the markets. Sat on the beach to see the sunset. Very crowded. Bit like Oia in Santorini. I think there were more people than Oia though. What a great platform to witness sun set.

The market was OK and I'd go back again for a cheap pleasant dinner. The Massage was a bonus but normal price. Can't say much else about although the whip cracker was entertaining.

Thursday night - we visited the markets for some dinner and wine on a rug on the beach at sunset! What’s view. The markets are an iconic territory experience enjoyed by locals and tourists alike - another dinner experience where there is no need to...More

Hi there we went on the Sunday. Just beautiful. Food was great, stalls were good and it was packed. Great start to a new week. I haven't been on a Thursday so I cannot compare. Enjoy
