Paid $1400 for a budget tour - the service barely lived up to budget. Overall experience of the Outback was great, real taste of Australian culture, BUT...... A majority of people I travelled with will agree that the money paid was not justified for a number of reasons; - Air conditioning broke on two separate buses leaving us all uncomfortable... More

Amazing trip - very conscientious and energetic leader. We saw the tremendous sights, especially sunrise and sunset at Uluru - the night sky when we were near King's canyon was unforgettable! Carla was fantastic under sometimes difficult circumstances. We could have had more reliable transport - tyre issue and air conditioning not working, this caused unnecessary delays and a change... Great day in Litchfield park! Got to see some amazing nature and went swimming just below two beautiful waterfalls - fantastic experience! Furthermore, our guide, Joey, was a great guide with a lot of interesting facts, great humor, and constant awareness of everyone's safety. I'd definately recomment it to anyone interested in an authentic Australian nature adventure! :)

Nothing luxurious here, you get what you pay for, fantastic trips into the outback in the Kakadu and Lichfield National Parks, swimming in waterholes, the knowledge of a guide/driver ( some long days) / cook / organiser and generally tolerant hard worker! We had Dan for the first trip into the Kakadu, he had to be flexible as roads were... More

We went in two tours of 3 days each. The Kakadu from Darwin and to Alice Springs from Darwin. Both tours full of visits to amazing off the beaten track places. Dan (first tour) and Rowdy (second tour) were the driver, cook and guide, knowledgeable and passionate about their culture and people. Willing to share their knowledge of aboriginal food... More

This tour was a fantastic experience on my loop across Australia. Our guide Joe and the assistant Linda they have done a very good job. Joe knows a lot about the country, nature and formation history and gave us some input and answered many questions. He also is an excellent driver and we feel always safe in the truck. I... More

One unexperienced camper and one experienced on an outback tour of 3 days! We started in Ayers Rock, great. First day a nice start for Uluru. Dave, our guide, gave us a good start at the visitor center. Not saying what we must do, but giving options and gave us the advice to make a good choice in what was... More

I'm an Aussie and have been hosting my friend from London. I wanted her to experience a true 'Australian Outback' camping experience, plus I've always wanted to visit Ayers Rock, so browsed tours online and found Wayoutback. They were incredible helpful via phone and email correspondence and I felt it was the right company for us- even though we would... More

This is a review of the 4 night, 5 day camping 'tour' - an experience I find myself looking back on with satisfaction and a good dollop of fondness. Certainly the Outback this time round dealt up its fair share of surprises given the large amounts of rainfall since the beginning of the year ; the green 'lushness' was so... More
