When we first arrived we felt like we were the only people there aside from some staff. Such a huge range of things to see and do like a miniature railway (apparently not always operating) and a zoo with free-flight aviary, in addition to what...More

Took the dog for a short stroll through the Gardens today, and while it was a nice place to go for a walk, I didn't feel particularly wowed by the set up. The cactus garden and rainforest gully were neat, and the island and bamboo...More

We took a cab here during a 2 day visit to Wagga. It's a large garden that a) includes a small zoo/aviary, and b) the Museum of the Riverina (Botanic Gardens site). This is a lovely place for a good long walk. We were there...More

Hi Carla, So glad you enjoyed your visit! We are in the process of renovating the zoo and park, bit by bit, and our signage and information will be one of the things we will soon be working on. Cheers, Leanne

I lived in Wagga from 1987-1993, so of course I had to visit these beautiful gardens- the roses were still in bloom and some are beautifully scented. I enjoyed viewing my old favourites, the chapel and the pond, the little railway and walking tracks. So...More

Beautiful Area in a Bad Neighbourhood. Very nice to go and have a nice picnic lunch. Park is over run with kids from the neighbourhood in which I grew up in however it seems to have gotten worse. The park itself is beautiful and spacious...More

For a small town like Wagga, I guess this is as good as it gets. I just wish theres more gardens they could put up. Or have events every once in a while.

So we only found out about the free zoo through reading previous trip advisor reviews, and what a worth while place it was. We originally planned to have lunch at Little El in the gardens, but it was closed (we didn't have much luck for...More

Hi, Thanks for the great feedback! Shame about Little El's not being open, they usually are? We all love the zoo, and we are glad you had a great time. Kind regards, Leanne

Firstly don't visit these gardens unless its the 1st or 3rd Sunday of each month if you have kids as they are the only times the miniature train runs and museum is open. But the free zoo, kids play area and gardens overall are wonderful....More

Hi Lisa, So glad you enjoyed your day. The trains are run by volunteers, so they can only do this every other week, but they are great fun! Kind regards, Leanne Frow

Great adventure and toddler playground, challenged our young children especially the flying fox. Great open location with plenty of BBQ facilities.
