We dined here for lunch. The fish and chips were yummy and the chicken Nepalese curry also. Plenty of beer choices too. Staff were OK but could put on a smile and conversation to lift things up a notch.

After walking through the markets at the Rocks on a Saturday, it is well worth heading to the oldest pub in Sydney for a Saturday lunch. The food and atmosphere was great . We stayed on for the afternoon 'jazz' band session which was brilliant.

As part of my 50th Birthday mini-pub-crawl I finally patronized the famous Lord Nelson pub as was not disappointed. 3 Sheets Ale was refreshing and crisp and the food was delicious: enjoyed a Grass-Fed brisket sandwich with rosemary chips. Service was solid. I even purchased...More

All it needs is a fire and black Labrador. Lovely cosy feel and fantastic craft beer on tap. Food and service excellent. If the sun is shining they have great outdoor tables.
