Enjoyed the Government House and tour provided by Allan. Helpful to hear the history Australia and organization of it's government. Not often you get to enter the residence of the Governor General.

Really enjoyed getting to see the inside of this beautiful old house among a wonderful garden. Great historical information about the NSW Governor and the Monarchy included. A great visit and doesn't take very long to see either.

The house and gardens are just beautiful! The visit itself is a little desappointing, with too much talking and little visit. Since it is free, it is worth it!

Government house was open on Australia day and is well worth the visit as it is so historical and rarely open. It is in beautiful condition and is a look into the past how the establishment lived.

We asked a gardener but apparently it wasn't open. The gardens are spectacular and the manicured lawns are like bowling greens but the building shows the early style oif grand sandstone architecture.

We discovered Government house which is in the Botanical Gardens in Sydney. Although the Tour Guide was rambling the rooms are very impressive & the tour is free. It's only open certain days & you cannot book ahead. You'll also need driving licenses or passports...More

At the tip of Royal Botanical Gardens in Sydney is the Royal Governor's House. We spotted it as we walked over from Circular Quay. What a beautiful little bit of Royal England. Take the free guided tour through the ground floor rooms that are still...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens

There is no self guided tour, you have to go on the organised tour which from memory takes about an hour or two.
