All I can say is that if you're in Sydney you MUST do the Bridgeclimb. Do the full 3.5hr one, not the express one. Did mine at twilight and it was brilliant. Well organised, exciting, informative, an experience to remember. Yes, it's expensive, but it's...More
The Bridge Climb is a definite if it is in your travel budget during your trip. Takes about 3 hours from start to finish and affords the best views of Sydney (along with any of the ferries from Circular Quay) along with providing an exhilirating...More
The Sydney BridgeClimb was an amazing experience. I did the original day climb along the outer arch which takes about 3 1/2 hours. The whole operation was so smooth and organized - from check-in, to suiting up, to the climb itself and returning to the...More
Even before I arrived in Sydney I decided this was an attraction I couldnt miss.
Firstly, i'd recommend you book in advance. Although when I visited in November, it was sufficient to book on the day, i'd recommend doing it a couple of days before...More
Doing the bridge climb was one of those things that we couldn't leave Sydney until we'd done - and we're so glad we did!
We thought that the climb seemed quite expensive before we went, but seeing just how much goes into the equipment and...More

We (3 adults) just climbed the bridge last week. The methodical, organized and very safe approach to the climb was evident throughout the tour. I would definitely recommend it, but the twilight tours are quite a bit more expensive than tours at other times of...More
Our family of four of 2 adults and 2 children walked the bridge late November 2010. That was the first thing we did on our 8 day Sydney visit. We arrived at Circular Quay by train and walked to the Rocks. There we found our...More

The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The
weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
