After a day in bustling Sydney, we were very relaxed riding in the ferry over to Manly Beach. The fast ferry takes about 15 minutes. When you arrive at Manly Beach, you find yourself immersed in a completely different world. The small town is charming...More

We took the ferry to visit. Lots of shops and restaurants, and we took a beautiful stroll on the boardwalk up to Shelly beach. Beautiful sceneries and homes as well as quiet places. Worth the visit!

I took the ferry from Darling harbour to Manley and spent several hours walking the beach path. Wonderful views and well maintained footpath.

We took a ferry over for the afternoon and picked up lunch at the beach. Lots of places to buy food and drinks right along the street by the beach. The ferry ride was also a nice way to see the water side of syndey.

Take the ferry to Manly, as you get a beautiful view of the coast and of Sydney harbour. The beach itself is lovely, but as far as beaches go, it’s not breathtaking or anything. But still a great spot! And there’s a Ben and Jerry’s...More

A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take
you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches
here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the
day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is
a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the
Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are
plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent
cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants
