Sydney’s CBD is an interesting and vibrant area, with a nice mixture of older buildings in amongst the modern sky-scrapers. There are some nice parks, and the shopping and dining options are endless. The CBD is an interesting neighbourhood and you can easily spend a...More

Sydney is one of my favourite Australian cities and has a great CBD with lots to do. At one end is Chinatown which is close to the fantastic Darling Harbour. At the other end is Circular Quay where one can enjoy the Harbour Bridge and...More

Very busy during the day but gets quiet quite early on in the evening. If you are going to plan to eat here they make sure you try and do so before its too late.

The CBD is in constant motion. We are staying at the Marriott and daily watch a building meticulously taken down to eventually put up new. This once historic area is soon to be modern. Think Tokyo with lovely views. We like the convienence of the...More

From Central to circular quay. The CBD will not fail to please. You want to taste a world class tap beer in a pub? Or sip on a cocktail on a roof top bar overlooking the harbour? Eat out at michelin starred restaurants? Visit immaculate...More

There are some interesting heritage buildings to be found nestled amongst the skyscrapers. A lot of Sydney's history has been lost to development and lack of city planning. There are a lot of old buildings being knocked down and replaced so parts of it are...More

Economically vibrate city and growing by leaps and bounds is the city of Sydney's CBD. Retailing shopping, office buildings, corporate HQ. Restaurants in abundance of all kinds. Public spaces for pedestrians, parks for relaxing and attractions for all. Comfortable, safe and loaded with things to...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
