Once you have studied the maps and got your head around which ferry stops/leaves from where it's easy. Once on the ferry its relaxing and a cheap way to see the sites of Sydney.

For an older couple a day out on the Sydney ferries has to be the best value in the world. A day pass on Opal is only $2.50 for a senior and for that the Harbour and river is your oyster. Hope aboard the Manley...More

Our family took a ferry to the zoo just for fun and to see what a ride on the ferry around the bay was like. All good. Nothing fancy about the ferry, so you stand by the rail and enjoy the beautiful sights.

Great way to see Sydney Harbour, especially the Manly ferry. Some of the short trips are not cheap so check the price on the Opal App first, that given compared to a tourist harbour cruise it is amazing value.

No, i believe you need one each. You can load it with a small amount say $20.
