Our group didn't spend a lot of time here, so it appears I need to have it on my radar to return one day...but what time we did spent... we made it count. Gardens are so soothing on one's senses, so immediately they relax you....More

We really enjoyed our stroll around the gardens seeing all the native Australian Fauna, followed by coffee in the cafe. My only disappointment was the Norfolk & Lord Howe Island garden that really could do with some tender loving care.

Enjoyed the rainforest walk and meeting one of the residents who was not fazed by us at all. Lovely echidna going about his business on a Sunday afternoon.

Fabulous volunteers quickly organised two mobilised scooters for us which enabled one of the most fulfilling Canberra experiences for us. Marvellous trees from around the world with thousands of Australia natives including “red centre” display complete with spinifex.

There is so much to see for adults and children as you wander around in this beautiful place. There is plenty of lovely places to have a picnic or enjoy a meal at the Cafe which is very good.

A well maintained garden with plenty of easy walks. Enjoy a nice breakfast at the cafe and then walk it off.

Unfortuntely, as we are a Commonwealth reserve, there are no dogs or other pets allowed in the Gardens.
