The Vietnam memorial honours the troops who paid the ultimate price for our governments decision to fight a war for someone else. This is a fitting tribute to the fallen in this grossly misunderstood war.

This Memorial was very moving for us as we grew up during the war and have many vivid memories of the hardships and dramas suffered by our mates.. The Vietnam War was so unpopular at the time. It's exceptionally sad soldiers had to suffer through...More

Vietnam stirs many emotions, and this carefully designed memorial is entirely appropriate. It gives the visitor the chance to sit and consider the myriad of emotions that swirl through the mind when observing the many details presented here. Well worth a visit.

Stand and think about what they endured. Hard to imagine, always supported the troops but always questioned the government reasons.

Well worth a visit as the soldiers who served were denied acknowledgment even though it was a political decision that they were involved

The walk along Anzac Parade was a great precursor to the day at the Australian War Memorial. An easy stroll and the detail by the artists in some of the exhibits, fantastic. One downer, I thought the RAAF Memorial and the Peace Keeper Memorial a...More

This memorial very powerfully conveys the experiences of our Vietnam veterans. Standing inside it can be eerily quiet. The names of all of our people who died in that war are in the ring that is suspended over the inside of the memorial.
