If you walk anzac parade you will see this and other memorials. If short of time you should at least visit the Vietnam memorial. It is a recent war which Australia went to with the best intentions of helping the South Viet. We should all...More

A very well planned memorial to those Australians who served in the Vietnam War. The memorial honours the over 500 Australians who made the supreme sacrifice during the War. Situated a present stroll down ANZAC Pde from the Austra;ian War Memorial. Particularly poignant for VietnamVeterans.

Vietnam was my era: the memories haven't dulled and the community division will never be forgotten. This memorial captures all of that and stirs the emotions. They deserve to be and visitors need to be challenged and confronted. If there is beauty in the ugliness...More

The Vietnam memorial honours the troops who paid the ultimate price for our governments decision to fight a war for someone else. This is a fitting tribute to the fallen in this grossly misunderstood war.

Vietnam stirs many emotions, and this carefully designed memorial is entirely appropriate. It gives the visitor the chance to sit and consider the myriad of emotions that swirl through the mind when observing the many details presented here. Well worth a visit.

Stand and think about what they endured. Hard to imagine, always supported the troops but always questioned the government reasons.

Well worth a visit as the soldiers who served were denied acknowledgment even though it was a political decision that they were involved

This Memorial is excellent and as someone from that era, and knew men that died there, it strikes a chord with me. A very moving experience. This is not the only great memorial along Anzac Parade, and it is a nice walk up one side...More
