Fun and cheap way to explore the centre of Canberra by boat! Easy to drive and good fun. Kids all wear life jackets. You can take a picnic hamper and simply float in the middle of the lake! One to two hours should suffice. Make...More
We have been go-boating 3 times on LBG and I love it! Once with fellow Canberrans with young children (afternoon), once with out of towners with teenagers (early evening) and once for the balloon festival (early morning) with a mixed age group 6yo to 82yo!...More
I went out twice in a week - once with some girl friends and once for a networking event. The weather was great and it was super easy to drive. Highly recommended to visitors or locals!! Great way to see Canberra from the lake! #dogfriendlytoo

Why thank you Courtney! Sorry you girls got a bit wet but I'm sure you still had fun with a great skipper :)
Make your way to the Venice of Canberra and be blown away by the beautiful apartments. GoBoat is right off the docks. Easy manoeuvring and safety instructions. To cover Lake Burley Griffin takes about 3 hours, but if you don't have time 2 hours is...More

Thanks for the detailed review! If you go for two hours and you've got 6-8 people on board it can be as little as $21 per person so a bit like the movies but more fun!
I've had the pleasure of taking three GoBoat voyages and each has been more fun than the last. A two-hour package will allow you to cruise past all the attractions and up around the islands before returning. Pack a picnic, a bottle (or two) and...More
We had a simply delightful breakfast in Kingston Bay today, and then saw some people coming back with an electric boat. Easy to use, very quiet, very spacious, and I simply fantastic way to see the lake!

Ahoy Ross! Thanks so much for the review. Glad you had a great time. Good luck with the rest of your trip!!
We hired the boat for 2 hours (think next time we will book for 3 hours as the time seemed to go by so quickly) and LOVED our time on goboat - it was our favourite thing we did while in Canberra. Our dog was...More
Recently spent a lovely two hours floating around Lake Burley Griffin in an electric boat from Goboat Canberra. Such a great way to see many of the beautiful sites, without the noise and traffic. We did the 10am start , which gave us the quiet,...More
What a lovely idea for an hour out on the water. Up to eight people can sit on the boat . Just glides along slowly . Easy to steer with a map and clear directions. Anyone can do it. No license required. Life jackets available....More
