Fun and cheap way to explore the centre of Canberra by boat! Easy to drive and good fun. Kids all wear life jackets. You can take a picnic hamper and simply float in the middle of the lake! One to two hours should suffice. Make...More

We have been go-boating 3 times on LBG and I love it! Once with fellow Canberrans with young children (afternoon), once with out of towners with teenagers (early evening) and once for the balloon festival (early morning) with a mixed age group 6yo to 82yo!...More

Online booking was easy and all were set to go. We had a lovely 1 hour trip. 2 or 3 hours would be good to see a bit more.

I went out twice in a week - once with some girl friends and once for a networking event. The weather was great and it was super easy to drive. Highly recommended to visitors or locals!! Great way to see Canberra from the lake! #dogfriendlytoo

Make your way to the Venice of Canberra and be blown away by the beautiful apartments. GoBoat is right off the docks. Easy manoeuvring and safety instructions. To cover Lake Burley Griffin takes about 3 hours, but if you don't have time 2 hours is...More

Thanks for the detailed review! If you go for two hours and you've got 6-8 people on board it can be as little as $21 per person so a bit like the movies but more fun!

I've had the pleasure of taking three GoBoat voyages and each has been more fun than the last. A two-hour package will allow you to cruise past all the attractions and up around the islands before returning. Pack a picnic, a bottle (or two) and...More

Hi Gordon, we suggest booking for the morning or late afternoon, we're open until sunset. Unfortunately the low bridges in Kingston mean we can't install canopies.
