We hired the boat for 2 hours (think next time we will book for 3 hours as the time seemed to go by so quickly) and LOVED our time on goboat - it was our favourite thing we did while in Canberra. Our dog was...More

Recently spent a lovely two hours floating around Lake Burley Griffin in an electric boat from Goboat Canberra. Such a great way to see many of the beautiful sites, without the noise and traffic. We did the 10am start , which gave us the quiet,...More

What a lovely idea for an hour out on the water. Up to eight people can sit on the boat . Just glides along slowly . Easy to steer with a map and clear directions. Anyone can do it. No license required. Life jackets available....More

Thoroughly enjoyable and different way to enjoy Canberra and beauty of the under utilised Lake Burley Griffin. My wife and I thought it would be a nice way to spend it together on our 1st Wedding Anniversay, with some nice food, the wind, the water...More

What an amazing morning spent gliding under the Hot Air Balloons, you couldn’t keep the smiles off our faces. Stable and quiet, easy to navigate and just a joy to be in these boats. Thank you so much GoBoat for an experience none of us...More

My 5 kids, husband and I had a truly joyous and memorable experience with GoBoat, we’re so excited it’s come to Canberra, as it’s not easy to find activities for a family with large age differences (20 months to 15 years)! With life jackets provided...More

Cannot recommend this enough! 2 hours is the perfect amount of time, but 3 hours would have been lovely too! We had the latest booking for the day which made for a beautiful and relaxing evening on the lake; from a perspective rarely seen before....More

You can get under the bridge near the Carillon if you take the table off it’s legs. Scooch down low and go go go. Don’t forget to put your empty bottles under the bridge on the way back into Kingston Foreshore.More

Thanks Andrew for the 5 star review, but we'd hate for other customers to follow your advice and damage the boats, losing their security deposit. The very low bridge is marked on the map as one of the few no-go zones in the lake because...More

We went for an hour to have an initial look. The overall experience is excellent. Despite a less than ideal day (quite windy) we had a great lunch on the water. The service is friendly and professional, albeit a bit slow. And the boats are...More

Hi Gordon, we suggest booking for the morning or late afternoon, we're open until sunset. Unfortunately the low bridges in Kingston mean we can't install canopies.
