Who grows fruits, vegetables and flowers in sand and stone, with very little water? Israelis in the Arava, that’s who. This is our third visit here. The fruit gets sweeter, the vegetables larger and flowers more fragrant. ❤️

Go to see how the vegetables are developed and grown in the desert. wonderful experience for us because I wanted to learn more about how to irrigate vegetables and other plants in the desert. There is so much to learn here.

one hour of entertainment for kids as well as grown ups.. agriculture miracles in deserts...controlled climate ..same for fishes...ends with a small 3d movie about the region

We enjoyed learning about the Arava Agriculture and especially the innovative methods the locals have developed to coop with the desert's harsh conditions. The exhibits were informative and suited to young kids (7) as well as adults. The center guide was very friendly and contributed...More
