This is just so impressive. Free & with a state of the art audio-aid. We think it was Enrique as member.of staff & he was excellent as was the Museum itself. Pushing mid 70s the only suggestion I would make would be seating around the...More

One of the best museums of the sort that we have been to. We discovered Iberian jamon a long time ago, and have since been enamored with its delicacy and intensity of flavor. We were therefore excited and curious to see what more we might...More

It is a nice place to visit in a small town, but the history is very rich. And taste the best Jamon ever on the planet it is indeed only in small towns or villages around south of Portugal or Spain.

All locked up despite being 2 hours before advertised closing time on the door. Sign saying "back soon" not much comfort.

Small, modern museum introducing the secrets of "jamón ibéeico". The video on the "matanza" (slaughter) is interesting

This is the place to go if you want to know about Iberico Jamon. The history, the landscape, the traditions, the Iberico pigs and the life they lead until the day. Very well presented with lots of video and displays. They have English language audio...More

Fascinating to follow the process of making Jamon Iberico from start to finish. I enjoyed learning about the cultural significance and all that is involved. Truly a treat for Jamon lovers!

Sounds surreal, amuseum devoted to ham, but the beautiful dehesa surrounding the town produces some of the best jamon in Spain, and the oaks forests that feed the free range iberico pigs are a unique ecosystem which this museum explains in fascinating detail.
