The "Parc" is situated at the north of the Somme estuary. It is pretty well signed as you approach. The final approach is on a track which is a little rough so a slow drive down is best, plus this stops covering walkers and cyclists...More

Visited just as somewhere to go for a nice nature walk. Entry price was quite high (I think approx 35 euros for the family) but parking was free and the site was well maintained with good paths and lots of bird watching hides. We are...More

The reserve is a lovely place to visit if you like bird watching, which we do but it is not child friendly. Doesn’t open till 10 o clock, late for bird watching! Long queues to get in as families hiring binoculars, maybe 2 queues would...More

A wonderful find. Had already got rather excited by sighting three spoonbills at Le Crotoy but that was no more than a taster before the feast. A fabulous place with three different paths from 1.5km to 6km, 15 bird hides and plenty of open water....More

For those who loves nature, especially bird watching, nice walk - can go with or without a guide. Can do other activities near-by like horse riding, cycling, visiting the base de Somme with the tides gone for miles etc. A wonder

Organized like National or State Parks in North America, with large parking lots, picnic area, restaurant, visitor center, bathrooms. We enjoyed watching wildlife throughout the day, and started we a guided tour without additional fee. Trails are very well maintained with a dozen watching areas...More

Great nature reserve for bird watching. Depending on seasons, migrations and tides, many species can be easily observed from the bird hides. You can share and learn with staff along the trail and informations are provided in several languages. Note that it opens at 10...More

I suggest searching for the full title, 'LE part du marquenterre'. I have posted a more detailed review there but trust me, it's good.
