short walk from Birkenhead to Little Shoal Bay through gorgeous bush and loud birdsong which is surprising as it is in the heart of a populated suburb

Impressive little park
Regardless if it high or low tide this park is very nice, ideal for kids, families, couples or someone who just want to relax and read a book while laying on the grass. It has some BBQ facilities, exercise equipment and of course plenty of space to walk around. Also, the view of the city is amazing as it is just across the harbour..…

Awesome at high tide - massive park too
Great spot on a sunny day. Overnight Campervans find the carpark useful. What a view of Auckland City. And a coin operated BBQ too along with a fitness trail!

Family fun in the park
Great park for young kids, lots of space to run around. The playground has been improved heaps and is quite big now with lots of activities to do. There is even some gym equipment for the adults.
