Great when alone

The original wooden chapel of St. Rocha is from XVII century, and was built over a spring by Marysienka Sobieski (wife of Polish king Jan III Sobieski) after the cholera plague was over. However it was destroyed and rebuilt many times and current structure is from ... XX century. You will find the place either by GPS, or a map. Go south on Tadeusza Kosciuszko street, and turn right (west) at the intersection with Lastowieckiego Street. It is a short walk from the last parking lot, through the very pictureques beech forest. It is believed that spring has a healing properties, but it was dry at the time we were there. Therefore, for a miracle water go to the "Chapel over the Water" also located in Krasnobrod. From the big church at the east part of town turn north on Aleja (Alleway) Najswietszej Marii Panny, # 63 It is on the left (west) side of the road. There is a small parking space on both sides of road. The spring is underneath the chapel, and it is consider a healing one. A lot of people will bring empty water bottles and fill them up. The chapel has a replica of miracle painting of Virgin Mary and a Child.
