On a whim we booked tickets for the Halloween Night event. Absolutely loved it, the various spooks around the place made my teenage daughter and her friend jump a few times (and us as well!). The Train Story museum was extremely eerie in the dark...More

Ride on a steam train, local beer, museum and seeing the refurbishment of original train carriages all for a reasonable fee. If you have any sort of appreciation of history and supporting it you have to visit.
We visited the steam train whilst on holiday. We had a all round ticket which i thought once we had finishdd our trip was expensive for what you get. We have been on cheaper steam trains + had a longer trip for our money.
Hi was there in the summer, so sorry can not help with Question, but it should be well worth the wait. If they have a suggestion box put your question down for them to read and they may well open a bit early,
