On a whim we booked tickets for the Halloween Night event. Absolutely loved it, the various spooks around the place made my teenage daughter and her friend jump a few times (and us as well!). The Train Story museum was extremely eerie in the dark...More

We visited this attraction this half term and found the site full of activity for Halloween with children having a great time. The adults also loved travelling on the steam trains . Well worth a visit

We were on Holiday in the beautiful Norton Grange which is in Yarmouth, we decide to pay a visit to the steam railway, a step back in time to a wonderful era, we boarded the train, and with a puff of smoke and a blow...More

The length of track is quite short, and the scenery nothing of real note, but the train has a variety of carriages which show how standards have changed over the years. The main depot has the workshops where restoration is in-progress and additional carriages can...More

We didn't have a great deal of time and opted on the day we visited to buy the £5 ticket that allows access to the station at Haven Street. We just wanted to spend some time taking some photos of trains passing through. However on...More

Hello and thank you for your review. We welcome feedback from all of our visitors whether positive or less so. I should start by explaining, the £5 ticket you purchased on the 10th October is not merely a platform ticket. It allows admission to all...More

Ride on a steam train, local beer, museum and seeing the refurbishment of original train carriages all for a reasonable fee. If you have any sort of appreciation of history and supporting it you have to visit.

We visited the steam train whilst on holiday. We had a all round ticket which i thought once we had finishdd our trip was expensive for what you get. We have been on cheaper steam trains + had a longer trip for our money.
