There is a small mound here, a (modern) henge-like ring of stones to mark the location, and a tourist information hut but really there is little left of the site where vikings from the surrounding twelve "counties" used to meet as early as 600a.d. But...More

For historical interested this place is a must see if you visit Frosta. Here the vikings held their Thing, which is like a courtroom. Today "Frostatinget" is a circle of stones which are symbols of all the countys near by, placed on a small hill....More
