Beautiful area, trails to walk, places to fish and it should be possible to take a lot of great photos here. We drove here in 2015, and again in 2017.

A little busy road leading through a marvelous scenery, washed by the sea foam and headed mostly on untraditional bridges. Frequent relaxation spots with great coastal views and offshore fishing opportunities.

Just go! Easy to say. You will stop your car very often to admire the power of nature, but also a human engineering masterpieces like these amazing tunnels and bridges on the way.

This coastal route is simply amazing to drive through! Stop anywhere along the route (in a safe place of course.) & you will be greeted by ever changing landscapes dressed with beauty.

The bridge (Storseisundbrua) is really a marvel and well worth seeing, but I would definitely recommend taking your time and stopping at the view points along the way. We were coming from the south and tried to stop at each one and walk around, enjoying...More

if you're around Kristiansund, Molde, or landed in Alesund, then there's no way you can skip this place. It's absolutely terrific to drive. You go as low as ocean level, and as high as 10 metres above it on a bridge that you don't understand...More

We had a nice, yet cold, September day when we left Alesund and crossed the fjord to Molde - this is one of greatest experiences one can have in Norway: crossing fjords by ferryboat, over bridges or through tunnels. Then, we had a beautiful drive...More

Heard and read a lot about this bridge so took a trip from Bergen. It's good for a picture but nothing more than that. I took a public bus from Molde and got down at the gift shop near the bridge and the got onto...More

I've read about this road so many times and seen so many pictures - and I was a bit disappointed. It's expensive (130 kroners for one adult and one car) if you need to drive through the tunnel near Kristiansund, and the Atlantic Road is...More

The Atlantic Road is 8.3 km long connecting several islands. The most impressive bridge, the Storseisundet bridge, is curved. It is a stunning view from just the right angle- we searched for it. The road is an Engineeting feat in its entirety. The builders had...More

Don't worry, wherever there is a good place to admire ocean panorama or road view there is a parking. In the most beautiful place (near the odd bridge end) there is a big parking, toilets, coffee shop and a gorgeous passage... More

The actual Road is very short so we drove it BOTH ways! There are several places to stop and walk and take pictures, have a coffee, etc.
