Oakura beach is just stunning. Perfect for a Sunday stroll along the seaside. If your into surfing your in for a treat.

Oakura is protected from the southerlys nice and calm and beautiful walk. You can walk either along the beach or along the walkway around to ahu ahu

This beach is never crowded & the sea changes the sand constantly! Great facilities available, toilets, showers, pizza parlour, coffee shop, Surf Club & Boardriders.

A wild black sand beach on the west coast south of new plymouth this is a great beach to enjoy a wander or a surf. It's not that busy and there are lots of great walks to enjoy.
