This beach is never crowded & the sea changes the sand constantly! Great facilities available, toilets, showers, pizza parlour, coffee shop, Surf Club & Boardriders.

A wild black sand beach on the west coast south of new plymouth this is a great beach to enjoy a wander or a surf. It's not that busy and there are lots of great walks to enjoy.

Fantastic cabins overlooking an awesome beach. We had a great stay here for six days and really unwound. Great day trips from this cool place in New Zealand. Makes you realise that the best things in New Zealand are NOT in the cities!
