We were really lucky we happened to be the only two on our booking so we essentially had a private tour! Our guide was incredible and having worked there for a number of years knew the cave system like the back of her hand. She...More

We paid $130 (for 6) to rain ride through the so called 'rainforest'. The service was so disorganised, no one seemed to know what was going on, we were told we may have to wait between 10 - 45 minutes but waited an hour for...More

We booked the black water rafting trip and were all underwhelmed with the day. On arrival it was shambolic and understaffed. Must have taken at least an hour just to get our wetsuits and there did not seem to be a system for the sizing...More

Knowledgeable local exuberant guides led our groups through caves of formations, into the stream to bob through the cavern of glow-worms, and out down the gentle rapids and back to the quaint train to base. It was a memorable highlight of our trip.

We did the Underworld Tour and every part of it was just great: the train through the rainforest, the walking in the cave and of course the glowworms! It is no real rafting, but we had a lot of fun in the tubes on the...More

This had everything. Completely bonkers experience but so glad we did it. Great value too. If you're traveling the west coast of NZ don't miss it.
