This is one of the most beautiful places that I have ever seen. The rough ocean of the West coast and the beautiful sand dunes. The sun setting over the ocean, is just breath taking. Well worth the effort to drive there.

Went for a drive and a walk took the dog as well. Nice place to fish.friendly people just an enjoyable place.

Beautiful beach......but be careful when swimming.....the west coast especially, needs to be respected.

Just a 15 minute walk from Port Waikato Holiday Park this is a lovely beach. We set off to try and catch the sunset but it got a little bit cold. Shame.

Kids loved sliding down the dunes and swimming. Great that it is a patrolled beach by the surf life savers.

Beautiful beach. You can find some rock formations that are very interesting and at some point theres one formation that looks like a natural pool.
