Such a talented group. from music , choreography, dance and screenplay to the ambiance and costumes. Amazing. I actually would not have found this if I had not been told by a friend how great it was. It's a bit off the beaten track but worth the effort. Thank you !

This was our first time at Two Planks and a Passion, and we thought it was excellent! The acting was amazing, and the setting was beautiful! We also enjoyed a delicious picnic right before the show that was sourced locally. A very unique experience!

I've been going to Two Planks for about a dozen years, and it's always a summer road trip that I look forward to. Since they've added their By Fire series, there's even more reason to stick around in the Valley. The Fire plays start once darkness falls, and the audience is ushered around a blazing bonfire. Actors sit amongst the audience, and there's never a bad seat. If you're lucky, you'll catch a meteor up in the sky! Be sure to check if the play is child-appropriate before booking: there were some kids at this years production of Frankenstein who were probably a bit too young to see some of the scenes. Bring a picnic to either eat on site, or to drive to Scot's Bay (end of the road) and dine with a view of Cape Split.

I take all my summer guests to a performance, never disappointing , rain or shine. I’ve also done the picnic on the ground, beautiful setting and yummy food.

Thanks for coming! We're grateful to Getaway Farms for their sausage meat, and happy to put it together with our garden produce and home baking, and tangled garden ;-) Don't forget The Ruins is on now till September 1, 2019, and then in September, we have a number of events, so we hope we see you again soon!

Frankenstein by Fire is a must-see entertainment experience! Whether you are an avid theatre fan or someone looking for a new and different form of entertainment, this show does not disappoint. Located in a rural setting, on top of the North Mountain, it truly is an experience like no other. We stopped and had dinner in Wolfville, made a brief stop at the Look-off, and then headed to Ross Creek (less than 5 minutes from the Look-off) to enjoy the production, which was superbly acted and produced. Thank you, Two Planks and a Passion Theatre group!
