Fantastic viewpoint for Arcos. The place is surrounded by a castle, a cathedral and the Parador. Great to visit both during the day and at night.

The views from the mirador are great. You can see for miles across the valley. The birds were quiet in the afternoon. Make a donation and feel free to take a few pictures.

When your in Arcos de la Frontera you have to come here. You'll have a great view over the valley. The best view in Arcos. The other miradors are also nice but ot so impressiv.

We stayed at the Parador, in a room looking out on the Plaza del Cabildo. The plaza is busy but fascinating day and night, with visitors arriving and departing, the little tourist train stopping for people to go into the beautiful church and of course...More

They were gearing up for Christmas but great visit anyway. We stayed at Oaradir in the plaza. Easy walking to entire small old city. If you don't have a great command of driving or have a larger car, I'd agree with not driving up here....More

Nice little road going to the top of the town. Road is really small so I suggest parking at the municipal parking and walking along the road. Nice viewpoints along the way with.

We parked here one Sunday having braved the very narrow streets on the way up the hill. A very lovely man found a tiny little space for our tiny little car. A voluntary contribution is appreciated. At other times (apart from siesta) the parking is...More

This is a terrific spot but tourists should park at the car park below. Narrow streets both in and out and parking in the plaza is a mess. But definitely go see it--amazing views and my wife got photos with wild birds (hawk and falcon).

The Plaza is unfortunately used as a congested parking area for the Old Town. The buildings around the Plaza are really the reason for visiting and the excellent viewpoint.
