About
Hardys Animal Farm is a great day out in over 7 acres of Lincolnshire countryside yet just 10 minutes walk from the beach, with loads of things to do and animals for you to meet feed and make friends with. It's a great day out, whatever the weather! You can see pigs being born in our specially glazed breeding unit, feed the goats and many other animals, allowing the children to learn about modern farming in a safe and fun environment. We also have baby Lambs, Goats, Cows and Chicks being born throughout the year. There is plenty of space for the kids to run around in our 3 Adventure Playgrounds catering to all ages, while you relax with a hot drink or a bite to eat. Go on a relaxing Cart Ride around the Farm with Fergie the Tractor and then decamp to Haystacks Indoor Playbarn, there are loads of things to do come rain or shine. The Number 3 Bus stops at the end of the farm road, running every 8-10 minutes from Skegness, Ingoldmells, Butlins & Fantasy Island

Lovely place for a family day out
Lovely place for a day out. I would definitely recommend. Lots of animals for the children (aged 2 and 10) to see/ pet/ feed. Free tractor rides were great. Great outdoor adventure playground and indoor soft play area. Nice café with good, reasonably priced, food.

Lovely day out but a bit on the pricey side.
We had a lovely time, the kids really enjoyed. I felt it was a little pricey though given the amount of animals we saw. I've been to much bigger farms with more animals for less. We however loved the little goats that followed us around, the playground and play gym were good. It's a shame the tractors were an extra cost. Food was nice and reasonable price. Staff were really nice and friendly.

Great little place. Will definitely visit again.
Didn't think it would take long to walk around there but we ended up staying for nearly 4 hours! Bought a bucket of food for £2 to feed the animals and immediately made friends with the baby goats which roam around the farm freely. The staff are very pleasant and knowledgeable and obviously care about the animals. The animals themselves appear well cared for and contented. There are plenty of opportunities for children of all ages to play and run and the free tractor ride around the farm is a nice idea. Plenty of information boards give an educational touch to a fun day and the nursery is a great way for kids to learn about animals, food production and farming. All in all a great day out and well worth the admission.

    Our experience at the farm
We live an hour away and try visit at-least twice a year. This farm is absolutely amazing!! It’s definitely our favourite we have some closer to us but always visit Hardys! Our favourite thing is the way the animals are free roaming it makes the experience like no other. The staff are lovely and so helpful! We always have the best day here.

    Amazing time
Me and my Family were staying in mablethorpe for the week and was looking for places to visit nearby. We saw this farm come up a few times on google and decided to go one day. We are so glad we did as it was an amazing day. My daughter absolutely loved the little baby goats following her around the farm freely and get a big bucket of food for £2. It is such a clean and well maintained farm and plenty for the kids to do. Victor was fantastic and a credit to the farm. Lots of play areas and petting. It’s a shame we live in leicester else we would be regulars there but we hope to visit again in the future on our holidays! Would 100% recommend, the kids (and adults) will love it!!

    Good Family Day Out
We had a great day at Hardy's Farm. It was quite quiet because it was still during term time. Staff were friendly and helpful Activities like pony grooming etc were still taking place and staff happy to chat to children about the animals and tractor ride was nice to go round Soft play is a really big play centre, limited food due to it being end of season but in season it looks like there was a good choice. Outdoor play area was big too and the horse riding toys and cars were available too. Would definitely recommend a family visit

Lovely place to visit with children
Our grandkids age 5 and 3 had the best time , from running around the outdoors activities, to playing crazy golf , enjoying feeding the animals ,and getting to pet guinea-pig and baby bunnie. A very friendly young girl told then all about them and what they like to eat etc. the indoor play area is very good and tired their little legs out... the best thing of the day for them was the tractor ride around the farm the man who drove it was had a lovely personality and interacted with the kids will be coming again next year 👌

    Amazing experience from the start
We came back in the summer and had such a lovely day out. So much to see and do for all the family. The tractor ride was fantastic and all the staff were willing to speak with us and interact with my little one. We had lots of close up encounters with the animals and they all seemed well kept with clean living areas. The cafe was lovely and plenty of choice.

    Great - again!
This is our 3rd visit to Hardy’s. We have been before in May 2022 & May 2023. As our son is now 3, he was able to really enjoy the ‘football golf’ as he called it. Just pay a £1 for a football which is refundable upon return in the gift shop. Nice addition for him to do, would recommend! The staff were friendly & always there is needed. The animals are clearly well looked after which is important to us when visiting a hobby farm. The baby goats were roaming around which was lovely to see. I cannot recommend this place enough, yes it can work out pricey if paying for a large family but you can spend a whole day there with the animals, different timed activities such as egg collecting, various animal petting, tractor ride & much more, as well as the outdoor & indoor play areas, so works out a great deal. You also don’t have to buy food there & they have plenty of picnic area’s including covered & uncovered seating areas for that. Toilets are always clean. Handwashing stations near animal petting / feeding areas. Overall, another great day out.

I am writing with regard to a visit to the farm on Wednesday 13th April.

I attended the farm with my partner and little girl, the total cost of entry being £38.35. I booked tickets online prior to attending and having looked through the website there looked to be a range of activities to take part in during our visit. On arrival we purchased a bucket of feed for £2, at this time we were told not to feed the pony’s or horses.

To say I was disappointed was an understatement. There was no information about the times activities were taking place and from what I could gather there were no activities on!

We paid a lot of money for my little girl to feed sheep! Who all had scratched backs and no wool on the top of them from the barbed wire fences.

There was no feeding of baby animals or handing of the animals only looking at a handful of animals kept in indoor pens.
The information boards around the farm were a lovely touch, though lots of them were irrelevant as the animals were not there to be seen.

The food offering at the on site cafe was also not good, with very limited options. Many of the tables in the cafe were also dirty and had not been cleared from previous customers. I stood waiting for 20minuets for 2 hot drinks.

The few staff in the cafe and the lady on reception were far from welcoming and seemed far from happy to be working. Which did not lead to friendly greetings with smiley faces.

Overall I was very unhappy with the visit to the farm and we will definitely not be returning. Nor will I be recommending the farm to anyone else.

We came the last weekend in June on the Sunday, it was a beautiful hot sunny day. We came for a nostalgia trip for my 50th birthday as we used to take our girls when they were young. We paid just short of £60.00 for 4 inc 4 bags of food (this included a concession for a carer) I am a wheelchair user & it was a struggle to get round despite us checking the farm was accessible for a wheelchair before visiting. My chair had to be picked up several times to get over parts of the farm, like the entrance to the pigs, and Alpacas & the paths were covered with rubble in a lot of areas making it very difficult to get around. We could only feed the goats, there weren’t other animals to feed. There were signs explaining that there is a shortage of animals for different reasons, for example there were 3 pigs and 1 set of piglets in the whole pig area. There were signs detailing names/breeds etc of sheep and which ones were which, but the sheep weren’t there. There was a distinct lack of animals, don’t get me wrong, it was lovely to go back & the staff were all lovely, the gift shop was reasonable & the cafe. But considering it was a boiling hot Sunday in June, it was empty, there was only us in the cafe getting a drink, and we saw maybe 20 people in the whole place. But this could be that locals know of the lack of animals? I think considering there really isn’t many animals at all & you can see it all in an hour inc petting rabbits etc the price could be reduced at the minute. There was a huge difference from when we last visited, we’d be there hours, and there would be different things to see and watch, demonstrations etc, but there was nothing because of the lack of animals. It’s a lovely little farm but it’s not worth the entrance fee at the moment.

We visited Hardy's on the 18th, my almost 20 month old had a lovely day. The staff were very friendly. A one way system is put in place making it easy under the current circumstances, you can walk round as many times as you like. The park i found was aimed more at the older children and currently the cafeteria is closed so if you are going rake your own drink with you. The price was reasonable and we were give a 10% discount for a future visit. The feed for the animals was reasonably priced at £1.50 a bucket which my little one seemed to enjoy

Where to start? Brilliant few hours spent wandering the farm and interacting with the animals. Our twin 2 and 1/2 year olds had a blast! (3 Adults enjoyed it too)
Armed with our buckets of food bought on entry we got up close and personal with pygmy goats and lambs , watched the piglets in their pens. Petted larger goats and sheep. Had a ride on a tractor. Saw cows , llamas and so much more. We petted rabbits and chatted to guinea pigs.

To finish the visit off the children spent time in the large playpark before buying cuddly animals to take home - prices in the gift shop are very reasonable.

Overall a great experience - under 3's were free so also brilliant value for money. We will be back!

We visited the farm with a toddler and all of your normal farm animal's are there apart from cows although you could have a go at milking a fake cow. We timed it right to stroke the guinea pigs and rabbits which we really enjoyed and the staff were sanitizing the baskets inbetween people which was good. There were other animals to see including alpacas, birds, parrot and rhea. Fantastic looking outside playground. Another good thing was the goat petting which we enjoyed. Also there are horses and tractors to play on under cover which was good when it started to rain. Some of the sheds with animals are good as well so doable attraction if it's raining. Cafe available and plenty of hand gel and handwashing points. Baby change available and flat accessible access for wheelchair or pushchair. A great reasonably priced place to visit.

I took me 2 year old daughter and 3 year old nephew there yesterday. They really enjoyed it, there was loads for them to do. We seen and fed the animlas, collected the chickens eggs, cuddled baby goats, rode on the tractor, played in the indoor play centre, had a play on the different outdoor play areas, then they spent all my money on the little tractors that they drive themselves lol. The staff are very friendly and helpful. And I was surprised at how cheap the gift shop was, they got about 5 gifts each and it came to less than £40. We spent about 3 hours there but could of easily spent longer. I will definitely come to the farm when I’m next in Skegness. The kids said it’s the favourite part of their holiday.

This place is amazing. So much to see and do. Our granddaughter had a fantastic time. There was lots of things for her to ride. She was able to pet a rabbit and not forgetting the indoor play area for her jump about in. As for the rest of my family we so enjoyed the tractor ride and feeding the the animals with the bucket of feed, which was reasonably priced too... We loved the picnic huts too and their coffee's and cake was reasonably priced too.. You must visit.. So worth the entry fee. My family thank you for a great experience

Lovely place, even with covid restrictions. Kids to get see and play with lots of animals - as well as feed them for a very good price.
We arrived first thing and has a wander to see and feed the animals. The baby goats are absolutely adorable. You may want to save most of your animal feed for them!
There was a bunny petting session and an egg collection that we did while there, as well as the tractor ride. All of these are free.
They have a huge soft play area with restaurant on site. My toddler played there for hours, and we both very much enjoyed the food. It's very good quality cooked food, and the kids lunch pack comes with a cute farm animal toy.
There's also a huge outdoor play area, pony bikes, tractors for kids of various sizes, etc. Again, all of this is included in entry and you can use anything at your leisure.
The staff that we spoke to were all absolutely lovely. We will definitely be coming back. It's a great place for anyone with kids.

Such a lovely place I can’t recommend it enough. Staying with my family in Chapel and seen signs for the farm so decided to go as it was a five minute drive away. The farm is extremely well taken care of from the buildings and walkways to the animals themselves. It is not the largest farm but has a nice variety of animals and gives lots of information on them as well as being able to see lots of younglings. There was also a nice play park, tractor ride and indoor soft play. The cafe menu had a good variety for both adults and children and was 10/10 for both quality and service. All in all it is a beautiful farm to visit and enjoy with young ones and look forward to visiting again in the future.
