We found it easy, albeit icy, to go for a jog around the town. Drivers are incredibly considerate to pedestrians/runners. Great to see sign to Murmansk !

We docked in Kirkenes for a couple of hours and took a trip to the Russian border. Beautiful scenery along the way and incredibly blue lakes.... when the sun shines. Very interesting history about WWII. Really worth a visit

On a short stop, it was really useful to pick up maps and get advice on what to do. Also help with booking a boat trip to the Russian border.

The richest tourism bureau containing information not only about Finnmark and the North of Norway but also on the bordering countries of Russia and Finland as well as the Sami region of Lapland (in between).
