Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Richly decorated, octagonal, draws your eyes to the top, to the vault.
Beautiful rennaissance paintings by Bergognone and Callisto Piazza

Absolutely stunning. Octagonal, with every square inch covered with frescoes or paint, and the impact is amazing. Your are surrounded by art. From outside you would have no idea what a gem awaits you inside. A must see.

Built in 1545 this octagonal church is stunning. Every surface frescoed or painted, altar of the crowned madonna and several notable paintings by local artists of the time. It is like being inside a jewel box. If open, see the beautiful sacristy at the back of the church to the right. A museum is open on Sunday afternoons. Mass at 1130 daily. *** in Touring Club Italian guide, the church attracts Italian tourists to Lodi. No charge.

From outside, it doesn't seem worthy of a visit but once inside is magnificent. Absolutely to visit if you are in Lodi.

Lodi has more than it's fair share of places of worship, but the Incoronata is truly a work of art (many works of art to be precise), tucked away just off the main Piazza of the Duomo. As a quiet refuge, it is as cosy and intimate as they come, but when you raise your gaze, and begin to take in the extraordinary richness of paintings, the architecture and the craftsmanship that surround you, this tiny church really elevates the sense of spirituality to the highest plane.

The Incoronata is a little jewel just of the main Piazza in Lodi. Outside you cannot even tell it is worth your time. You have to enter to discover the best of this octagonal tempio built in early baroque style. It is decorated from the floor to the ceiling but the gold is not overwhelming. If you are lucky, you could be around one of the night when they perform live baroque music. Must see

Unbelievably beautiful church, not far from Lodi cathedral square. Coming from outside you would not believe what a masterpiece you are going to see... a 15th century octagonal church fully covered with wonderful paintings and frescoes.
Not to be missed!!!

This small church is hidden in a lateral street close to Vittoria's main square in Lodi. While the external appearance is not immediately very attractive, at least from the street level, the interiors of the church are definitely impressive and will leave you speechless, especially the vault. Several decorations and paintings of local artists are exhibited.
Some renovation works were in progress at the interiors at the time of the visit, but most of the church is very well visible.
