I travel all the way from California to camp here for 7 weeks. It is actually quite cheap to stay there, and there is plenty to do. I enjoy paddling out to the center of the lake to relax. It is often quite crowded, but even then it is enjoyable. Definitely my favorite place in the area.…

The dam is situated on a huge piece of land along side the forest and is accessible by bus which comes every 45 min. There is space for volley ball and yoga as well as open water swimming. Great way to spend a very chilled day or afternoon. Close to the Frankfurt airport traffic route so can do a little plane spotting as well. …

Paid 3 euros to park 2.2km away (before even paying for entry to beach), no shuttle bus. 7 year old not happy. Seedy changing rooms. Extremely dark, graffiti, lights not switched on. 'peep holes' in walls... Nice Beach - covered in cigarette butts. Very long queue for limited refreshments.…

while working in Germany on my days off in the summer I would go here if it was sunny it is a beautiful place and great for a swim, cheap at only 4euro for a full day here, I would Highly recommend a trip here on a nice day

Great spot for swimming or to spend a few lazy hours reading a book. If you are looking for some more strenuous activity there are some volley ball courts you can use. Plenty of room to spread out or to find a more secluded spot. On a hot day be sure to get there before 11am to have your choice of the best spots.…
