The Roman Theater and Amphitheater really are worth a visit. Take advantage of the €15 pass and see more in the city. It was impressive. Highly recommended

This is a large site to explore and needs time...but our time was limited in Merida. The weather was extremely hot and the site very dusty...but the Roman remains extremely impressive to see and well preserved. Definitely a must if you are in Merida!

The tour office was very efficient and service was friendly. Seeing a nearly complete 2000+ year old Roman arena and theater was an awe-inspiring event. The guide signs were very informative and easy to read. 100% recommended.

Very well conserved, extremely good explanations, makes you feel like you are back in the Roman era. Will definitely recommend this site to anyone who has interest in history, it’s worth a visit.

Impressive remains of a Roman theatre. Large area of ruins to spend time exploring. Great for an afternoon.

Majestic, full of history and culture! If you love history or stories, this is a place you shouldn't miss. You will feel transported in time and expect a gladiator or a Roman philosopher to jump out from behind the columns to surprise you any time.

I managed it solo in two days. However suggested routes are difficult to follow. Would suggest 3 days but with children might what to think about 4 days.

As most people have recommended, I would agree that an overnight stay is worth it. There are many things to see and do and obviously trying the local food is part of the experience of travel. Enjoy!

The roof is missing, the beds have gone and the swim rooms dried out 2000 years ago.
