This zoo is perfect for young children being that it's not to big, so not too much walking has to be involved. Plus, there is an adorable train with loud music that will take them all around the zoo and see the animals from the...More

Not one for paying to see animals in captivity I loathe when my child asks me to take her to a zoo. However, the Zoobotanico of Jerez is an exception. Located in quite beautiful grounds the animals are in great condition and there are that...More

This zoo is perfect for children. There is a train ride that will take you all over the zoo, so the kids can see them, face painting, picnic areas, restaurant/café. It's not very big so there is no need to walk for what can feel...More

It's on the outside of town and this helps in reaching the zoo by road. It is a nice little zoo and despite the recession in Spain it seems to have survived well. Went on a Tuesday and it was quiet the animals looked well...More

We came across the zoo by accident but what a find! A really lovely day out with the family, very much enjoyed by kids and adults alike. The hippos and the lion's roar were awesome.

The zoo is too far out of the way for tourist, and of average standards. I would save my time for other activities.

Jerez is a mostly undiscovered (by tourists) little city which I've now found out hosts a mostly undiscovered (by anyone, judging by the paucity of other visitors when I was there in the height of summer) zoo and botanic garden. Well laid out and kept,...More

Nice zoo, not too crowded, variety of animals, a bit too hot during the summer days, but there's enough of shade to hide, so it is ok. Very clean and nice to get to know not only the animals, but different trees and plants as...More

Our fourth visit to this zoo. Generally the zoo is a pleasant way to pass a few hours in Jerez. A visit in the morning (opens at 1000) is best as the animals are more active. The entrance price is ridiculously cheap (see below) -...More
