Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was looking for somewhere to play with my daughter and we came across Coccaro. It is set in the grounds of Masseria Torre Maizza which is beautiful. The staff were excellent and you get free range balls before you start and it costs about €25 a round. The course itself is well maintained and snakes through the olive groves. The holes are 90 to 140 metres but with very small greens, water on several holes and trouble left, right and long, this is not an easy course. Take lots of golf balls! We had a lovely lunch at the pool afterwards and enjoyed it so much we played twice on our holiday.

What a great golf course set amongst the old olive trees. This gem of a golf course has Bermuda grass and fantastic undulating greens. Awesome

The course is set around Torre Maiza premises in an olive orchid. It's a par 27 course, so you play just your irons. Still, it's a technical course and the set is unique, so you won't get bored. Staff is very kind and the practice area is excellent, so consider some time for chipping and bunker escapes. Price is also affordable, EUR 25 for 9 holes, compared with the other course in the area, San Domenico where you pay an undeserved fee of EUR 75 for 9 holes.

The course is really well maintained - the best in the area. It is only a par three but incredibly difficult due to olive trees, ravines and water and size - so much packed into this little course. There is also a driving range.

Unusual course in and out of huge olive trees, and stone bluffs. Greens would hold any shot from 150 yards and yet were remarkably quick and true. A really good test of golf, accuracy being at a premium. Well worth a visit. Watch out for the 2nd!!
