I'm always surprised that there is such a real is such a large castle in Rastatt. If you are there you really should take time for a visit - or at least to have a glimpse on it.

We stayed in town in our way to Switzerland. This place was next to our hotel. It was a pleasant surprise. Me and the kids had a great time.

My tour was in German so I got most of my information from cards. Interesting historically but not so much inside. Museum was good but no translation.

Yes, it is not far from the train station. Rastatt is a rather small town.
