Unusual lighthouse in as much as it is in the centre of town rather than on the coast. Excellent views from the top as far as the medieval walls of Montreuil and, only on an exceptionally clear day , the white cliffs of Dover. Admission...More

Only our second visit up the lighthouse in 35 years of visiting. It's rarely open but worth checking out its opening times so you can get it right. 278 steps up, your heart will be pounding! but you have plenty of time up there to...More

Impressive building from the outside. Unfortunately it was closed when we arrived. Looks well maintained from the outside...would have loved to have climbed up inside.

Sadly it was closed so can’t review it properly hence low score, it was a Monday. Seemed to restrict access to those over 6 years old but never had the chance to try with our two... interesting position and pleasant location for picnic.

A must-visit for those who love lighthouses...it is hard work climbing up but the view is sublime once at the top...this is a working lighthouse, and warns small planes and helicopters not to fly too low over the town of Le Touquet-Paris-Plage

Climbing all those stairs is pretty tough, nevertheless, the views from the top are nothing short of stunning.

After reading reviews on the lighthouse we decided to visit in time for the 2pm tour (you can only get access to the tower on a guided tour, and they run afternoons only) We arrived a few minutes late, as couldn't find the way in...More
