We used to love this place but it is being commercialised beyond belief. We are regular visitors and always pay the £4 parking charge. However on visiting on New Year's Day it was so busy there was not a free parking space to be had....More

Fineshade wood can get very busy on weekends. Parking is not free but the trails are nice with the odd play area for the kiddies. It takes about 40 mins for a leisurely pedal around the biggest loop. For more adventurous mountain bikers you should...More

This place has lovely woodland walks in all directions. The paths are good going. Some of the cyclists need to have more respect for pedestrians and be courteous. The cafe is expensive but the food is very good just the service is really slow. It...More

A loebly place to walk or cycle around with dedicated cycle routes. Parks and cafe available. If you want to visit regularly, but a yearly car pass, which is brilliant value for money.

It may sound like a silly reason to score a place poorly but when you are a responsible dog owner well placed bins make or break a walk. This was my first visit to Fineshades woods. I was more than happy to pay for the...More
