Larvik is a small town for a cruise ship visit but discovering the beech forest was a pleasant surprise. Looking north from the town centre we were enticed by the sight of some trees. Once into the small forest the world changes into a tranquil...More

A very nice place to walk around. Walked here while the leaves are changing from green to orange and is so majestically beautiful and breath-taking. You can feel that you are one with nature and that everything is fresh.

Autumn makes the coloring spectacular. This is a really popular place for hiking, because you can easily combine the Forrest whit longer hiking trips into Farris and the lake.

No better choice for a walk or a picnic in the woods. A number of paths to follow, climb a mountain or swim in the lake, take a run, or contemplate in the stillness of nature.
