Definitely a must do in Larvik. The forest is just a ten minute walk from the harbour and train station. It has lovely paths and walks...and there is even an original path still there from the Viking era. Nice information boards explaining about the area....More

Autumn makes the coloring spectacular. This is a really popular place for hiking, because you can easily combine the Forrest whit longer hiking trips into Farris and the lake.

Very very nice walk in the forest, on the side you have the nice path by the gorgeous lake, views are incredible. Being there, don't miss this hike!

No better choice for a walk or a picnic in the woods. A number of paths to follow, climb a mountain or swim in the lake, take a run, or contemplate in the stillness of nature.
