We rented two electric Renault Twizys in the village and made our way up to the farm. The drive is fun, lots of cool views and a narrow and dark tunnel. Up there the view is cool, unfortunately only a “so so” waffle was sold....More

This is a must! Amazing place, and the history. Think about the people who lived here, High up in the mountain, without the road

Beautiful experience. We went by car, and it was worth it. Check the time when you go up. The tunnel up is open at the hour and down at the half.

This is one of the farms that you can drive upto. The road is narrow and needs careful driving. You won't regret the detour and if you are not planning any major hikes around Geiranger farms - this is your best bet. The views are...More

I'm sure I'm a bit late to respond, but it might be of help to others. In order to get to the farm if you don't have your own vehicle, I'd suggest hitchhiking with other tourists. You can either get a ride all the way up, or... More

The farm is open for visitors 24/7 unless the road is for some reason closed. Souvenir/waffle sales have irregular schedules, but are often open most days during late June till August.
